We’re all different and in turn react differently to certain exercises. What works for someone may not work for you.⁣ ⁣ I struggle with both standing shoulder presses and high bar squats. It’s no big deal. The squats are simple, I use low bar squats and other exercises for my legs. For shoulders I use dumbbells for pressing and do a lot more work with lateral raises.⁣ ⁣ When I first started going to the gym I had in my head I had to do these exercises because they were talked about so much. Whilst they’re brilliant compound movements to incorporate into a routine, if they don’t work for you then don’t waste your time with them. Switch them out for something else that does work.⁣ ⁣ Have you got any exercises that don’t work for you? Or any you’ve swapped out for something else?

{~ ¦¦ #monday routine 🤤🥞 Non vi è cosa peggiore del rimandare al domani ciò che potresti iniziare a fare oggi se solo non ti dessi delle giustificazioni inutili. Troppe volte sento persone lamentarsi della propria vita e di disagi che potrebbero, quantomeno, rendere meno evidenti, eppure ripetono ad alta voce: "si, ho deciso, da domani inizio... da settembre inizio... da lunedì inizio" senza iniziare mai ma continuando a lamentarsi. Non vi sembra che sia un controsenso? È come se diceste a voi stessi "rimando la mia serenità, rimando la mia salute a lunedì". È un po' la stessa cosa. Perché nella testa scatta la molla: devo stare a dieta quindi devo togliere questo, eliminare quest'altro, mangiare sempre le stesse cose, senza sale e senza gusto. Ma se invece riusciste a capire che lo star a dieta è uno stile di vita sostenibile nel tempo dal nostro corpo forse capireste che non è eliminando cose a caso che starete la dieta. Paradossalmente potreste mangiar di più ma qualitativamente meglio; ed è questo che fa la differenza! Con le scuse non vi sarà mai un cambiamento. But for a lot of people, this will be pretty close. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💪 Here’s why I like it 💪 - No more neck pain or shrugging! - This puts the body in a position where it’s hard to use the Traps! - This also makes it easier to feel the Shoulders when pushing out the last few reps! - Strong Mid-Delt Contraction - Brings in Rear Delt & Mid-Back - Strength Curve works WITH the Mid-Delt, unlike a standard DB Lateral ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don’t know what to call these but feel free to go with Cadd Lateral, because PT’s can’t spell and 6-point Incline Lateral doesn’t exactly it roll off the tongue 😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Try both variations! @fitn ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You’ll be a lot stronger on the first one, but feel free to soak up the 🔥🔥 on the second at the end of your workout!
