Such a wonderful exercise pairing @imagistones story stones with their appropriate letters.
Incorporating the reverse side of the @thelittlecoachhouse number board is a clever idea.

Here’s another look at the recently finished bar height hayrake table. It comes in at 42” tall with a bookmatched walnut slab top, and the base had some fun challenges, particularly that curved piece that connects the stretcher assembly together. Everything is built with drawbored mortise and tenon joinery, and the legs are offset at 45 degrees. A fun build and a LOT of milling and laminating to get there.
**Customer photos** This means the world to me to have someone take time out of their day to post this to my Facebook page. I finished this growth board for an awesome customer of mine, it looks like it the perfect accent to their home and blends wonderfully with their decor! After she looked up and down for the right height board, I was able to deliver the look she was after. #mycustomersrock#heightchart#height#customerpic#thankyoucustomer#woodgrain#decor#lovemyjob
We just had a new delivery of beautiful British sycamore Hatters and Toadstool Peepul and there are some real natural beauties in there. We will put these for sale on our website at 8pm this evening (Tuesday). Numbers are very limited so please note that we will put a limit of one of each type (hatter, original or toadstool) per order. That means you can buy one of all three, but not two hatters or two toadstools. This is the best way to keep it fair for everyone as we don’t have these very often. We hope you love them as much as we do!
Putting a seal coat of @ecopoxy UVpoxy on this spikey maple burl live edge👨🏼🎨
The reason I am doing a seal coat on the live edge is because I am going to be pouring a layer of clear @ecopoxy and I don’t want to see any micro bubbles trapped under the surface once cured. Normally I don’t do the seal coat when pouring coloured epoxy and @ecopoxy advises that you don’t seal the live edge as this weakens the bond between the live edge and the epoxy. Since the live edge is so spikey I’m not worried about the bond. The spikes should act as nice anchors. Hopefully this answers some questions some of you may have when it comes to epoxy pours! Thanks for watching and reading. Cheers! ✌🏼
Well, this might be my new favorite custom finish😍 The neutral blend of cool grey and warm tones really accentuate the grain and make for a beautiful look! —
For my #tiptuesday: don’t be afraid to mix stains! The options are endless and it’s so fun to experiment! Just make sure to mix oil based stains with other oil based and water based with water based. Never combine oil stains with water ones! Happy custom mixing and creating!
This afternoon we have been doing some letter recognition pairing our @reelwooddesign alphabet with our @thelittlecoachhouse tracing board.
Did you know the boards are double sided? So the alphabet board comes with uppercase on one side and lowercase on the other.
