Moving art around today and gathering pieces for an upcoming project. This was one of my first large #fractalart pieces on #wood and still one of my favs. I think going to leave it here in the studio for a bit. 🖤
Lisa wrote me back in August and asked if I could create personalized Ash pendants to be part of the centerpieces on the tables of her son Rudy’s October wedding. Rudy and Katie were planning a wedding in a Flagstaff forest; there was no chance I would say no to being a small part of that magic. I happily leapt at the opportunity. With the wedding now tucked safely in their memories, Lisa was kind enough to send me this picture of one of the necklaces in position during the festivities. It is a gift to see my creations out there in the world. My sincere thanks to Lisa (and the newlyweds) for including my art in their special day.
Today marks the 44th anniversary of one of the greatest World Series games ever played. These are some closeups of a commission I did a few months ago. A little bit of everything went into this project: acrylic halftones, stain, paint, and polyurethane. I will post the full pictures tomorrow.
