About the #viewfrommywindowproject
Almost every hotel bed in central Africa has a mosquito net, so when you wake up in the morning what you first see is the world through the mosquito net.. And behind that green garden was lake Tanganyika. Just like that. I think I fall in love with great african lakes on this trip.. That was the reason @fredericnoy exhibition about lake Victoria in @visapourlimage affected me so much. Pls go and check his great work 🙏
As I travel a lot, and my second home are all kind of different places going from luxury hotels to homes of local people I’ve decided to make a new photography project: VIEW FROM MY WINDOW to document how different view of the world around can one have almost every day. This idea is in my mind for quite a long time but I was maybe too lazy to make it real.. till now.. I challenge myself to document every place I stay from the point that includes my window somehow. When I was a collegue student our english teacher gave us every year the same essay theme to write about: “The view from my window”. In that time it was the most boring topic on planet earth as we were students living with our parents and having the same view every day, every year.. now it looks so funny as everything is different almost every day.
I also believe that what we see somehow has an influence on us. If it is the first think when we open the eyes to welcome a new day or the first time we enter a room- our new space.. I believe all this influences leave something deep in us.. so I decided to document this.
I started this serie with my photo from 14.3.2019 from Bishek hotel. Wiew from my window project nu.: 000
I will use this #viewfrommywindowproject in every picture to identify them easily 😉
