12 July 2019 exploring Ladakh with @etaporamaxplore (Repost our posting according to some missing photos)
Still about lovely Hemis Festival. Our main objective was to see the dance performance that were performed by the monks. .
There were colorful costumes with various masks that represented the various characters of the story.
Hemis Festival in Ladakh is celebrated annually on the 10th day of the Tse-Chu, Lunar month of the Tibetan Calendar. The 2-day fiesta marks the birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava. .

Too happy to be sad!!! It was pretty incredible to be able to grab a couple pictures of @statechampsny at the Sad Summer Festival the other night! Forever grateful and appreciative of the opportunities I’m given 🙌🏼
I still feel out of my comfort zone with this type of photography but I think the process of figuring it out is what makes it so much fun!
In case you’ve missed our stories, we are currently traveling the Ring Road of Iceland! More to come, but thus far it has been the most amazing fantastical place we’ve ever experienced!
We feel as though we are on another planet, all of the beautiful scenery is endless. Every turn of a mountain or field there are sheep, horses and endless roads to ourselves.
The locals are so friendly and seem to live much simpler lives, it’s no wonder they are one of the happiest countries in the world. 🇮🇸 ✌🏼
