So I drove 2.5 hours up to France the other day just to buy oysters. This is Arcachon, one of the country’s most famous regions for bivalves, where farmers sell their oysters direct from little shacks like this on the water front. They sell them unshucked, to take away, for €6 a dozen, or they’ll shuck them on site for €10 a doz and throw in a glass of white Bordeaux to wash them down. I went with a few to stay and a few to go. Damn tasty too.
First night in Auckland with my sweetest love 🥰 having a relatively chill evening because we both barely slept on the flight here. He took me out to dinner at the Sky City Observatory and now were going to back to the Airbnb to get some sleep so were less jetlagged before our adventures tomorrow!!! #traveling#newzealandadventures#summer2019
