Let’s go back to Miami!
We already talked about Wynwood... This charming Miami neighborhood was subject of a large urban regeneration a few years ago by the mayor of the city.
Before it was infested with drugs and prostitution... now is a neighborhood full of fancy clubs and restaurants!
We loved the underground aspect that it maintained thanks to the many murals scattered around!
Torniamo a Miami!
Join us tonight to celebrate our “Most Strongly Rooted” campaign win with a special happy hour from 5pm-8pm featuring @NobleOakSpirits cocktails and tunes by DJ @Fefegirlwonder.
Our tree will be receiving a wellness check and upkeep services, and the block surrounding surrounding us will be getting a clean-up courtesy of a grant by @EdringtonAmericas and @NYCParks. In addition, Edrington will be matching all of our Noble Oak Bourbon and @SnowLeopardVodka sales for the month of July and donating to the #NYCtreetrust to continue supporting urban forestry and local tree planting.
Planning a trip back to the Eternal City. && making a list of all the places we missed & food we didn't get to try there.
As someone that loves to travel, a camera is all you need to be able to capture and tell a story. While visiting saint Louis, I wanted to recreate this shot of the with the Arch on the background. You are looking at the Saint Louis old court house where the first two trials of the Dred Scott case happen.
You might ask what is that all about? Well that case final decision said that a slave (Dred Scott) who had lived in a free state was not thereby entitled to his freedom. Thanks to the 14 amendment the case was eventually overturned and ratified the fact that all those born in the USA regardless of color are equal citizenship and promised them "equal protection under the law".
Enjoy your Thursday…
