Been playing around with my airbrush a lot lately, and it’s a lot of fun trying to come up with something different. This crab pattern was one of the first patterns I started working on earlier this year, and I’m happy to say the redfish have been loving it!

SHOW SOME “MONGREL” DOG//
The Mongrel Dog is not a big dog, but he’s not a small dog, he’s just a Mongrel Dog.
The “Mongrel Dog” was born about 20 years ago. When after a test match, which he narrowly won, Cowboy Shaw said, “The problem with this @*#!en team is we don’t have any “Mongrel Dog.” After some discussion someone asked Cowboy Shaw what a Mongrel Dog is. Cowboy’s reply was, “If you don’t @*#!en know, you shouldn’t be here.” After more discussion and buying Cowboy a few more beers we asked again, his reply was, “@*#!en off.” So we asked Andy Hayden what Cowboy meant.
“The M.D. is personal, he said, “he’s in everybody, he’s aggression, motivation, that want, but most of all, the M.D. won’t accept second. Sometimes he shows up when the opposition has been attacking for 10 minutes and you don’t think your legs will get you to the next tackle. Sometimes he shows up on attack when you have the opposition by the balls and you go in for the kill and win by 25 points instead of 10 points. He sometimes shows up when you’re training and makes you do the last rep at training.”“But, he’s most effective when he’s with you all the time. The Mongrel Dog is the difference in sport, he can be very strong carried by one but if the whole team has that ‘Mongrel Dog’ you will win. If you don’t possess this thing called the ‘Mongrel Dog’ hang your boots up and retire.”
The following week we trained with the Mongrel Dog, we ate with the Mongrel Dog, and we played with the Mongrel Dog. So Gentlemen, show some @*#!en Mongrel Dog.
