Lost & Scared...But hey...atleast I was singing my heart out
Came across this old vid of an open mic, just about a hundred pounds ago, from back in 2017
Before My Transphormation, before this healthy lifestyle...music was my outlet
Just about once a week, I’d drive to some tiny dive bar back up near Saratoga, NY
And after a couple shots of whiskey...I’d atleast get to “let go” for a while
The anxiety I had about not knowing what I wanted to do with my life
Briefly overcoming the complete lack of confidence I had in myself
I didn’t feel like a complete fucking loser
While on one hand...I wish I could go back in time, knock the drink outta that guys hand and show him the way...
I’m so grateful for this memory...cause it showed that deep down...bits and pieces of who I’m constantly becoming where there all along
I just had to put in the work to find it 🤙🏼
And hell...I think I’d do a who lot better on stage as who I am now compared to back then
So...any good open mic spots in St. Louis? Let me know, might be time for a comeback in 2020 🙌🏼 🎸 •

Tony Robbins is a phenomenal inspirational speaker and someone who has motivated me greatly to begin pushing for what I truly want in life just as you should too. -
The time is now to raise your standards and become who you know you can be, who you’ve always wanted to be! -
so far the end of each of my semesters have been a slap in the face. I have been beaten to the core by the end of each. Nonetheless, Im mindful of what I learned through all my setbacks and proud I got past each. Here’s to a new mind & self 🥂 it really never stops and now that I know, I can tackle them all! -
Passed my spinning-certification exam, so Im officially a spin instructor!! It wasn’t what I’ve always had in mind but it’s a step in the direction of where I want to be. “𝗪𝗼𝘄, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆...”
People always look at those who are successful and say this. But where is the truth in that statement? Successful people didn’t get where they are by luck, or by chance but by pure determination and discipline.
𝙍𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣’𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨.
It takes consistency, and hard work to make your dreams come true and some people will never want to go through the hard stuff to get to your goals.
For me, I’d rather work really hard for one or two years in my life and then be able to live free and do whatever I want for the rest of my life. And that’s exactly what I’m doing, and I’m taking anyone with me who wants to come.
None of this comes from luck. Every successful person worked their ass off to make their dreams come true and their story of how they got there is so small compared to the impact they’ve had because of it.
So step out of your comfort zone.
Take that risk.
Start working for what you want because your dreams aren’t impossible, they just take work to come true.
Live and work for YOU. ♡
