Well this is it. I picked up Lizzy this morning at 6:30 am and headed to IHOP. Both of us tired and talking about people she has met, plans with orientation for the next few day, and not talking about goodbyes.
We finally headed back to her dorm to set up her mini fridge and printer. Then about a 1/2 hour before I needed to leave we crawled onto her bed to snuggle. We cried, talked, and laughed.
I know that this next step is what she needs. She will succeed, she is a fighter and survivor. I am so very proud of my baby girl.
Now I am at the Kansas City airport, which is the first of 4 airports I will visit on my way home to Ken. #proudmom#mybabygirl#sofaraway@firstname.lastname@example.org @lizzy_price01@stephens_susies_
