How is everyone getting on with their Christmas shopping ? Any mummies to be or mummies looking for something extra special ? I have been using this lovely set from @littleaurelia on Evie for over a week now, and it’s the most luxurious range of baby products I’ve used. My nighttime routine has always involved creams and I’ve stuck to the same routine with every child and it works. Adding this touch of luxury before bed is working for us as it soothes Evie perfectly and helps send her off to dreamland. Not only do they feel and smell amazing but they look amazing too. Next sleep tip is obvious but very effective!
Exercise is great, but not too late in the day. Try to exercise at least thirty minutes on most days but not later than two to three hours before your bedtime.
You will increase your chances of better sleep if you will get plenty of oxygen during your exercise (or during the day).
Take a brisk walk before or after your workout if you exercising in gym. Open wide your window if you exercising at home. Go for a jogging if you wish two-in-one benefits.
If you sleep deprived for a long time you may feel no energy to exercise, and this is understandable. But to escape this vicious circle of insomnia you have to tired up your muscles, so you can improve your sleep. The solution can be the longer walk - it would be ok if you are slow - put some music or audio-book on may keep you walking for longer, and therefore work these muscles out more.
Have you tried to exercise to improve your sleep?
