Discover the Spectacular Horological Drawings of Artist Julie Kraulis. Yes, these really are drawings for real!
Canadian artist Julie Kraulis’ MAKING TIME collection of graphite drawings recreates the intricate details of iconic timepieces in one-of-a-kind “portraits”. In her words:
I knew I wanted to approach the MAKING TIME collection in a way that would highlight design and emphasize the magic. A mechanical watch is an incredible feat of design and engineering, creativity ticking away on the wrist. But, it’s easy to lose wonder when it comes to small objects. When you play with scale and distort the context of an everyday object, you’re able to see it with fresh eyes and a different perspective. My desire with the collection is to challenge the way you see a watch and to elicit more of that well-deserved wonder.
I love the lively shimmer of graphite that makes a drawing come to life. I love the paradoxical aspect of using one of the most basic tools to create huge, intricate pieces of work.

Sketching out ideas ☺️
I’ve kinda tried to avoid posting sketches or incomplete art... cuz it might not look amazing and people might not think it’s the best,
but that’s what I made this account for in the first place; to post all my art, all that I sketch, ideas I come up with, everything, posting what I make for anyone to enjoy and in the end for me to enjoy😅
whoops 🙊🐵🙈 guess who’s finally gonna start posting a bit more and finally has motivation—
anyways these are the new ref sheets for gød and codebon! not much changed color pallet & appearance wise but i did add accessories ex. shoes!!
for gød, i only really added eye bags and the pink sneakers, that’s it. he’s too perfect i didn’t think i needed to add anything major
((also before anyone asks his flags are demiro/gay male and norwegian/british))
for bon i brought back the iconic orange eyepatch/glove from 2017!! it didn’t match him at all back then (nothing did tbh he was a fucking fnaf oc) but now i think it fits him a lot better since for his “major change”, long story short, i pretty much made him a psycho doctor,, there’ll be more about that in the next post.
so yeah,, that’s really it! at first i was gonna include these long ass descriptions of their personalities in this post but i’m too lazy for that shit and its not like anybody’ll read them 🤧 and plus it’d be better if i revealed them later on anyways

You may be wonderin where did my good stuff go
My drawings and ocs and shit like that
I'll answer that question
Im busy with school and I draw only necessities for school projects and shit like that
I drew this in like 5mins
And let me tell you
I was so happy during that 5mins that you can't even understand
It's like I'm leaving my depression shell behind,,, and I'm starting new life,,,
It's amazing experience
And I want to share it with ya
Tho it's not what you expect me to draw and probably most of you won't like it
I just wanna give you lil bit of that joy I felt when I was drawing these two smiling clowns
