In a Dec. 2018 interview with @power_106, @rollingloud co-founder @tariqcherif details his vision for what the ever-expanding brand will look like in 5 years. He imagines growing to more worldwide territories, a focus on increased production value that reflects the hip hop culture, and the same colossal lineups that have given RL its name.
That vision is coming to fruition, with additional domestic & international stops in NYC (Queens) & Hong Kong to round out a successful 2019.
Rolling Loud, the brainchild of Tariq & @mattzingler, continues to warrant the attention of the hip-hop & entertainment world. The remaining 2019 dates are as follows: Oakland (Sept. 28-29), Queens NYC (Oct. 12-13), Hong Kong (Oct. 19-20), and Southern CA (Dec. 14-15).
The festival had its inaugural run in Miami (2015), expanded to the Bay Area & Los Angeles in 2017, Japan in 2018, and now to NYC and China. There are also plans to expand into Sydney, Australia next year.
