Like water which can clearly mirror the sky and the trees only so long as its surface is undisturbed, the mind can only reflect the true image of the Self when it is tranquil and wholly relaxed.” -Indra Devi
We live in a world, where we inevitably have to be fake.
Even the most authentic person in the world is not a 100% real to everyone.
Because our world rejects authenticity.
They only get repaid with judgement from others.
What's living if I can't live as myself?
That's just surviving.
(P.s. Pardon the weird looking camo on my shirt...fine it's sweat, pardon that😅)
Strolling through my pictures, I noticed my back in this one from recently in LA. I never get to see my back (obviously 😂), but I was really surprised by the little definition that’s forming. I do a lot of strength training and have never really noticed a lot of muscle in one particular area. To be honest, I was happy to see some sort of progress, as I often see pictures and wish I had the same definition 🤔 .
This afternoon I took a long stroll in a local forest, giving my little brain lots of time to think and reflect. I made a mental list of things I’m grateful for today and realised I’m really lucky. Anyway, very deep for a Saturday eve😂, whatever you do this weekend HAVE FUN and do it for you 😌. Happy Bank holiday 🥳- early night for me, Orlando flight in the morning ✈️ #disneyexpress
