What my fridge looks like after the farmers markets.... I like to buy heaps on Saturday so I’m set for the week. No excuses for not eating healthy!! I love shopping at the farmers markets every Saturday. Why??

When I say, "keep your core engaged" or "squeeze your tummy muscles" I'm pretty sure the kids aren't listening to me or maybe they have no idea what "engage your core" means!
This week we worked on an exercise that really helped the kids understand what proper core engagement feels like. After practicing a couple of repetitive sets the kids were ready to incorporate this into their workout 👌👌 Understanding how to properly engage your core muscles helps stabilise your trunk during functional movements & lifts to avoid risk of injury.

Recipe Time!!!!! Here's my post-workout purple protein potion (PPP or p-cubed) -8 oz of water or milk (whole milk adds more calories if you're trying to build some mass)
- 1 scoop of protein of choice (I used Redcon1 Ration Whey protein)
- 1 cup of frozen blueberries (excellent source of several brain and vascular boosting nutrients and much-needed post-workout carbs)
- 1 cup of mixed greens
- Exactly 5 ice cubes
