I only train her once every 4 weeks face to face and she trains 3 times a week at home by herself until we see each other again in 4 weeks. Não cruzar as pernas, deixando-as ligeiramente afastadas, com os pés bem apoiados no chão, ou com um pé sobre o outro tornozelo, mas é importante que a altura da cadeira seja a mesma distância entre seu joelho e o chão. Sentar sobre o ossinho do bumbum e inclinar um pouquinho o quadril para frente, o que irá fazer uma curvatura lombar mais acentuada. A lordose deve existir mesmo sentado e, ao ser observado lateralmente, a coluna deverá formar um suave S, quando vista de lado; Posicionar os ombros levemente para trás, para evitar a formação da 'corcunda'; Os braços deverão estar apoiados em cima dos braços da cadeira ou sobre a mesa de trabalho; Evitar ao máximo ter que baixar a cabeça para ler ou escrever num computador, se for preciso suba a tela do computador colocando um livro por baixo. Sabemos que o home office nos dá um pouco mais de liberdade do que o trabalho nas empresas, porém devemos seguir algumas dicas básicas de postura na hora de trabalhar e podem sem levadas para o dia a dia e para dentro da empresa também. . Não cruzar as pernas, deixando-as ligeiramente afastadas, com os pés bem apoiados no chão, ou com um pé sobre o outro tornozelo, mas é importante que a altura da cadeira seja a mesma distância entre seu joelho e o chão. Sentar sobre o ossinho do bumbum e inclinar um pouquinho o quadril para frente, o que irá fazer uma curvatura lombar mais acentuada. A lordose deve existir mesmo sentado e, ao ser observado lateralmente, a coluna deverá formar um suave S, quando vista de lado; Posicionar os ombros levemente para trás, para evitar a formação da 'corcunda'; Os braços deverão estar apoiados em cima dos braços da cadeira ou sobre a mesa de trabalho; Evitar ao máximo ter que baixar a cabeça para ler ou escrever num computador, se for preciso suba a tela do computador colocando um livro por baixo. BACK TRAINING WITHOUT EQUIPMENT⁣ ⁣ As of this week being completely gym-less and equipment-less, what I have found is that it’s not overly difficult to stimulate most muscle groups effectively with what I have inside my apartment. ⁣ ⁣ The only body part that I am struggling with is finding ways to train my back...⁣ ⁣ So getting a little bit creative on Monday this is what I came up with!⁣ ⁣ Turns out I have a dining table with dimensions that line up perfectly to smash my lats! Go me!⁣ ⁣ Keeping the abs tight and compressed to avoid hyperextension in my spine and driving my elbows down and toward my hips, worked an absolute treat!⁣ ⁣ And I've really felt it the past couple of days as a result!⁣ ⁣ Simple ways to progress would be to straighten the legs or even elevate them on a chair or stool. ⁣ ⁣ You can also play around with different grips and angles too, depending on what muscles you want to be taking the load!⁣ ⁣ Don't underestimate these, they are not the easiest, but if you do give it a go, let us know how you get on!⁣ ⁣ I will be back at it tomorrow sourcing out some other possible exercises so drop a comment below if you are struggling to find exercises for a particular body part! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #aptitude⁣ ⁣ ⁣

Let’s talk... lower back tightness Prolonged inactivity can actually increase back pain as the back becomes stiff, weak, and deconditioned. As the pain increases, most people reduce their activity and exercise levels, resulting in even more back pain and aggravating the cycle of inactivity and back pain recurrence. For most back problems, exercise and movement are the natural stimuli for the healing process. Controlled, gradual and progressive exercise and stretching rather than inactivity. Whilst we are all restricted to outdoor exercise and movement, we are spending long days indoors, resulting inactivity. Recently we’ve had first hand experience of how quickly our lives can change, which has come with a great deal of stress. ⠀ Over the last month I have implemented some practises into my daily routine that I wanted to share with you, as I feel like they really help me when I’m feeling stressed or anxious. ⠀ Keeping it simple, here are 9 practises that I implement into my routine on a daily basis to help manage my stress and anxiety: ⠀ 1 Pray more 2 Get outside and walk, workout, or practise yoga in the fresh air 3 Start meditation or practise deep breathing - start with short meditations (3-5 minutes) and gradually build it up 4 Keep a journal and write down your thoughts at the end of each day 5 Keep a gratitude journal and write 3 thing you’re grateful for every morning 6 Create a relaxation playlist 7 Read a book 8 Spend time with family 9 FaceTime friends - make sure you’re staying connected ⠀ Sometimes I don’t even realise when I am feeling stressed or anxious, so I wanted to include a few common symptoms below: - A heavy chest or feeling like you can’t breath - Feeling wound up or edgy - Feeling tense - Feeling restless - Obsessive thinking, obsessive worrying, or fear - Avoiding other people ⠀ There are lots of other symptoms that you might be experiencing, so it’s important that you’re able to become aware of when you are feeling this way so you can learn to manage it. Why MOMENTUM is the biggest thing you need just now 📈⁣ ⁣ 💪 The hardest thing about training from home is getting started and performing the first 10 reps. ⁣ ⁣ 🏃‍♂️The hardest thing about going for a run is putting your trainers on, getting out of the door and making it to the end of the road.⁣ ⁣ 🍎 One of the BIG barriers about getting in shape is committing, deciding that your going all in and taking that first initial step (you then of course need a strategy and a plan that works).⁣ ⁣ I appreciate our training environment isn’t perfect just now, but its about knowing that you can STILL work towards your goals and make incredible progress if you can make the commitment and just start. ⁣ If you’re currently struggling with motivation and trying to get your head into it at the moment 👇⁣ ⁣ 🎯 Stop telling yourself your going to do 100 push ups or a 45 minute training session and start off with 10 reps and once you’ve started, you’ll probably do more.⁣ ⁣ 🎯 Stop putting off that 5km run, put your trainers on and make the commitment to run around the block and once you get into it, you’ll probably run that little bit further. ⁣ Takeaway: The next time you’re struggling to get your training completed, start by making some smaller micro commitments that are easier to accomplish and achieve and just by building that momentum you’ll more than likely do more and get the box ticked ✅👊

Use your body as an instrument, not an ornament - Ross Edgley 🎺⁣ ⁣ I don't think there's ever been a better time to take yourself outside of your normal training structure and try your hand at some different disciplines. ⁣ ⁣ It can be so easy to get caught up in a certain training style (and whilst there's nothing wrong with that) ⁣ I’ve personally found so many mental and physical benefits from moving away from my comfort zone and typical ’norm’ and immersing myself into completely new challenges/disciplines over the past couple of years.⁣ ⁣ Now is a perfect opportunity to work on:⁣ ⁣ 🏃‍♀️ You CV fitness and work capacity.⁣ ⁣ 🧎‍♂️Mobility (this is definitely one for me!)⁣ ⁣ 💪 Your ability to contract and ’feel’ muscle under no/little load.⁣ ⁣ 🤷‍♂️ General weaknesses that you know you’ve neglected because of a lack of time or desire.⁣ ⁣ Use this time as an opportunity to progress, learn and challenge yourself by making yourself feel a little uncomfortable.⁣ ⁣ This two weeks has already highlighted some aspects and areas I want to work on.⁣ ⁣ Some 5km runs and daily mobility is on the agenda for me ✅⁣ ⁣ What are you doing at the moment to keep you moving forward? 👇

Absolutely INSANE work from my man Forbes 🔥🚀⁣ ⁣ Confidence up ✅⁣ ⁣ Body fat down ✅⁣ ⁣ Lean tissue on ✅⁣ ⁣ Strength, knowledge, understanding ✅⁣ ⁣ Health markers ✅ ⁣ ⁣ Life transformation and change ✅⁣ ⁣ When Forbes first came onboard in August, he was low in confidence, recovering from a lower back injury and wanted to build a physique he could finally be proud of. ⁣ ⁣ As a pub owner working long hours and late nights pretty much 7 days a week, Forbes has been faced with plenty of challenges over the past few months.⁣ ⁣ Has it been perfect? No, but he sure has been ruthless with executing the basics👊⁣ ⁣ These before and afters are an incredible testament to the work and journey this man has been on and it's been an absolute pleasure to be a part of.⁣ ⁣ And the best bit is, he's now only just getting started 🚀⁣ ⁣ His words to me in a message earlier..⁣ ⁣ ”This is just the foundation for us to now build on so we can really focus on adding some muscle mass”⁣ ⁣ 👆👆👆 Yes!⁣ ⁣ Even with the slight change due to the current circumstances, there's a clear strategy in place to ensure we continue to move one step forward and build upon the insane change Forbes has made.⁣ ⁣ Incredible work my man 🏆 ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣
