If you watch one thing on Netflix this week, make it #WhenTheySeeUs
It's based upon the true story of the "Central Park 5", which I can't say I'd ever heard of 😕
I finished the show tonight. It was a difficult and uncomfortable watch, maybe moreso knowing I'm fortunate and privileged enough to never find myself likely to be put in that position. Nevertheless it's an important watch and one I fully recommend. 1989 may be 30 years ago but the discrimination and injustice still exists today 😟
If the show or awareness that it brings goes any way to improving that then it can only be a good thing.
Anyone else watched it yet? Thoughts? 🤔
