Had an excellent day at the @designmuseum’s Kubrick exhibition with my dad. If you can get tickets, I highly recommend going—there are props, annotated scripts and books, clips, storyboards, costumes, cameras and more... A fascinating insight into creativity and filmmaking. #StanleyKubrick#kubrickexhibition

Last night the Brent Civic Centre turned green as a mark of respect for the second anniversary of the Grenfell Tower Fire, where 72 people tragically lost their lives. We held a 2 minute silence to commemorate the loved ones lost and those who survived this tragedy. #GreenForGrenfell
I feel like @tate are SMASHING it this year, and their exhibitions come so thick and fast you have to be on the ball to make sure you don’t miss anything. Thankfully, their latest show at Tate Modern only opened last week so plenty of time to catch the sublime Natalia Goncharova
I really liked this show, an easy, enjoyable jaunt through the colourful Russian avant-garde. The room representing her 1913 exhibition is a beaut 👌
#NataliaGoncharova is on at Tate Modern until 9 September 2019. Organised by Tate Modern in collaboration with Palazzo Strozzi, Florence and the Ateneum Art Museum, Helsinki.
Guess what‘s inside... 🛍

Science = Art
Today’s highlight was easily the London Natural History Museum - to be there with the skeletons and the moon and the beautiful carved stone walls and surfaces - was such a wonderful opportunity. History seen like this does a great job of putting us in our place and demonstrating our little concerns of our lives are just that. We are here for a mere blink of an eye, our lives so short when compared to cosmic time. Of course I became anxious when we realised we would not get to see it all. Plus there were many hundreds of people and I don’t do crowds very well. We stayed for half the day, really just touched the surface. The blue whale skeleton is enormous; bigger than enormous; the large cross section of a tree which was felled at 1335 years old and the plotted history of human times the tree had lived through ... never enough time to soak it all in.
