A preening falcon is a happy falcon. Kass is remarkable. He did amazing over the weekend and kept his calm most of the two days from the expo. We got him 1 month ago and I don’t regret my decision since. I work with him everyday to socialize and training, we still have some bumps to over come, but he’s getting at it. But seeing this yesterday of preening himself and one leg up in relax while crowds would come and go at our booth, I’m proud of the bird. We do not allow people to “pet” him or handle, he’s nots ready for that and don’t wish to encourage potential fear towards this bird, afterall - he’s new to his surroundings, and my first goal is to make sure that he’s comfortable and feels safe, by making sure people respect his space and not reach out to “pet”. We don’t tolerate anyone who thinks it’s okay to pet our birds without asking first. When people approach before asking, they don’t deserve to let the animal: bird, cat, dog, any animal from us, we kindly tell them no, back ourselves with the bird away from the person, and ask them to step a few feet back, then we resume talking about the bird. Doing this for nearly 6years now, you learn a lot.

Lor Mee, which loosely translates into "noodles in braised gravy", is a Chinese noodle dish with Hokkien roots found in Singapore. 🍜
Drenched in a generous serving of starchy, savoury gravy, the flat noodles is usually served alongside a braised egg 🥚 and meat or fish 🍖🐟. Depending on your preference, vinegar and minced garlic is also often added, giving this unassuming-looking bowl of noodles a flavourful punch! 😋

Haven’t been fishing for about 8 weeks, so here’s a photo of what’s been taking up all my time, enjoy.
@ Singapore 🇸🇬 Surf and Turf?
Another day another meal of fishball noodle soup.
These fishballs were filled with some mince pork meat which was what sold us.
4/7 Although a nice idea, the dish itself was average. The fishball texture was nowhere near the ones we had on the first day in Singapore and the broth was a bit cloudy and salty.
Cant win them all!
[TANJONG PAGAR] Enishi ( @singapore_enishi): Dan Dan Noodles ($17.90)
This quaint 9-seater restaurant serves ONLY 100 bowls of ramen a day!!! You really gotta chope a seat the minute it opens at 11am because it’ll sell out super fast. The Dan Dan Noodles is a must-order. It’s meaty, savoury, and rich, and in a way, it reminded me of a cross between spaghetti bolognese and bak chor mee, just with that umami finish from the dashi stock. 🍜
Pork Knuckles @ Tze Char Stall. Crispy on the outside with meat that is not too dry, this dish goes well with perhaps a huge bowl of rice or even an icy cold beer (perhaps?) The home-made sweet & sour chilli sauce adds bonus points to this already well-executed dish. At $18, it is definitely a good dish for sharing! Not forgetting a plate of greens to balance the meal~
