Each day you must choose the pain of disciple or the pain of regret. Each day you must show up as your best self and give yourself what you deserve. Your potential is limitless. You can achieve your wildest and craziest goal. Manifest. Believe. Grind. Don’t you EVER give up on yourself ✨
One day I was doing this guided meditation that completely turned my perspective on life upside down (in the best possible way). I was asked to meet my 5 year old self and my 80 year old self and reflect with them on my life. At that moment, it instantly hit me. Why wasn’t I fulfilling the dreams my 5 year old self had created? Where did that 5 year old confidence and curiosity go? Why was I holding myself back for the sake of security? Then when I spoke to my 80 year old self, I realised WOW, I have so much to accomplish in life that I better start manifesting and grinding for my dreams. Fuck scrolling on Instagram for 3 hours a day and watching other people’s success. It’s time to create my own. Reflection is one amazing thing that you can use to accelerate your progress. Make your 5 and 80 year old self proud and give yourself everything you deserve in life. So go out there and go get it 🥳💪🏻

Accountability is the glue that ties commitment to results!!! Are you holding yourself accountable?? Please don’t take the same 2019 excuses into 2020! Remember, if you want different, than you must move different. 🦋✨
This isn’t where the magic happens.
Not even close.
See, working out is amazing. It’s good for your body, it’s good for your mind, and I believe it’s good your soul too. But if you’re looking to lose weight, don’t keep showing up to the gym and expect that to be the magic trick.
Trust me, I tried.
In high school and my undergrad I would go through spurts where I would work out like a BEAST. HUGE cardio sessions, classes, weight circuits...oh yeah I hit it hard.
But the scale never budged. Not once.
I chalked it up to “I guess I’m just meant to be this size,” but at the time I didn’t stop to examine my eating habits. They were HORRIBLE. Pizza, beer, overeating, more pizza, fast food, REPEAT.
All the cardio in the world can’t help you if you’re making poor food choices.
When I joined @ww I started going to the gym too. I was strict with my points, and strict with getting an hour a day in at the gym. And guess what?
The weight melted off. Literally lost 17.8 lbs in my first month. Why? BECAUSE WEIGHT LOSS HAPPEN IN THE KITCHEN. When people tell me that they’re starting a new fitness routine to lose weight my first question is “How are your eating habits?” Because unless you address those simultaneously you’re not setting yourself up for success.
I’ll step off my soap box now. I don’t preach because I want to shame others, I preach because I want to save others from the years of searching I had to do to figure this out. Had I known how to really help and fuel my body all those months ago I don’t think I would’ve reached the peak weight I did. Still, I’m proud of where I’m at now. But I also want to help save people the long journey of discovery I faced, too.

Hey what’s up hello, I’ve neglected this account for a few weeks because my metaphorical cup has been pretty empty lately. Between work shit, my own mental health, and getting strep throat 2x within the last 2 weeks, I haven’t had a whole lot of energy to do much of anything. Hoping to get over this funk ASAP so I can keep crushing my goals and actually feel motivated/positive again. Thanks for the continued support, pals ♥️♥️
