Tasty lil dinner😍 shrimp cooked with tomatoes, spinach, roasted veggies, baby spinach, chickpeas, dairy free mozzarella.
I made the shrimp by sauteeing garlic in olive oil in a large pan, adding the frozen shrimp and cooking on each side for 3mim, adding diced tomatoes with red chili pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and basil. Let them cook through and voila!
Catch of the Day >> Onaga Snapper aka Queen Snapper
Line caught in the deep waters of Fiji, Onaga tops the list as one of the most sought after snappers. Delicate in taste, mildly sweet in flavor and perfect for sashimi preparations.

The first place I went fishing was in Texas. I remember getting up super early and going to the gas station and getting those duchess sugar donuts. That was probably the best part for me. It must be some sort of hunting and fishing staple, because I see people all over doing it. I'm not much of a fisherman these days, which is funny because I run media for an outfitter. I love watching people fish though and they make for great pictures and videos!
On this cozy Thursday, with the snow falling gently outside, we debut our winter salad and set two heavyweights of the IPA world against each other in a taste test. Dried cherries, a tart cherry vinaigrette, cinnamon-toasted pecans, and your choice of seafood makes this all-day salad more than just a healthy alternative to fried Friar goodness. And those IPA’s? Resident beer guy, Derek, is pitting legendary west coast IPA, Pliny the Elder, against the standard bearer of the New England IPA, Tree House’s Julius from 4-6pm and he would love your help in choosing a winner! You just need a Fish Friar tasting glass to participate and if you’ve got something of your own to share, it’s more than welcome.
Soup fans? A hot and hearty clam and haddock chowder awaits you!
