This sandwich has the Butler’s Cabinet’s famous house smoked turkey, brined by the wonderful @m.e.a.love then smoked by @foodforyall, but they don't stop there! Coming soon, the NEW brisket pastrami! Y’all are going to love it. Stop by, say hi, and eat rye (or whatever bread you'd like, not my call). #foodhallatcrockettrow

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Y’all, these days are a juggling act, a switching back and forth of various hats- and I’ve dropped a few pins and my hair is messy. BUT I love it.
I’m learning so much in this time. I had a birthday since we last talked, and something I love to do on my birthday is write myself a letter; reflecting on the past year, setting goals and intentions and writing prayers for the next. Reflecting has made me think about the art of valuing quality over quantity. I’ve enacted this concept in some areas of my life, but others not so much. Fashion is one of the categories I’ve grown, but still have so much more growing to do. It’s still tempting to buy something for myself when I’m shopping for clients. My cart still drifts from the cereal aisle at Target to the cheap shoes- but I do resist! It feels easier in the moment to just go with more as opposed to better. But sis, sometimes better is better than more.
All this to say, I’m still juggling hats...or whatever, but I’m feeling excited to pursue this quality over quantity mindset in more areas of my life.
Raise your hand in the comments if you’re also spinning plates and juggling!
Guys, what are you so afraid of? Getting your precious ego hurt?
If no one has observed recently, I observed this some time ago, women are not only becoming a force individually but as a group. They support each other without bias or ego, showing up to every event and supporting from knitting events to Mary Kay. When was last time you saw a Men’s Conference or Men’s Workshop, no Think and Grow Rich workshops don’t count. They share content on each other’s page, talk about their “friends who have businesses “. So what’s our problem guys? Is it so hard to accept that others can be and are more successful than we are? That it’s better to learn from them and not continue to be ignorant of certain things but to band together and be successful as a group of like minded individuals. (Used ignorant in it’s correct content- lack of knowledge).
Even though I support Men’s Mental Health and try my best to support others pursuing their dreams and goals, it is a bit disturbing that it seems like the guys are constantly in second place, and not because of talent or skill but because of ego.
Let me know your thoughts.
Are you ready for the holidays?!
I know, I know, it’s still October, but soon enough the pumpkin patches will close as we begin to deck the halls, trim the trees, and hang the stockings with care.
And with that said, I want to make the most of autumn and create what YOU ACTUALLY WANT...
If I were to offer FALL MINI SESSIONS, help me know what to include:
How long do you expect your MINI session to be?
30 mins or 1 hour?
Where do you want to capture memories?
Your home, outdoors, a studio?
What type of keepsakes?
Digitals or Prints?
How many images should be included in your mini session?
10, 15, 20?
I specialize in soulful black-and-white imagery, but would you want color photos, too?
Let me know your FEEDBACK ASAP!
Looking forward to learning how I can serve you best.
