W E I G H T L O S S 😵⚖️ today I took the plunge and joined @slimmingworld 🙈🙌🏻 it was a scary thing for me to do, but I’m glad I have and I didn’t weigh as much as I thought, which is always a good thing 😂 I really want to stop having such a negative opinion of myself and I’m hoping this will be a start 🙏🏻👏🏻 Tonight, we had homemade turkey mince koftas, salad and whole grain rice! Such a delicious meal to kickstart my journey 🤙🏻
After a looooong break, I am back to the workout life 😎 People may think that I bought my followers count, but the thing is; Of course I didn't 🤣 The people who followed me from the start came to my account because of my fitness lifestyle a couple of years ago, when I followed the famous Bikini Body Guide. The owner @kayla_itsines also posted my 3 month end result (4 years ago!!), and that is how I grew my followers. But after that I quit working out because of adrenal fatigue, and due to other excuses 🙄😝 I had a 1,5 year break on here, and when I came back my account content changed, algorithm changed, and my entire life changed!
I broke up with my ex after 10 years, and the year after I met my current boyfriend and his daughter 💖 And life does change a lot when becoming a part time step mom! Living and loving the life now ☺️🥰 And now I think I finally find the moment to realize that I also have to focus on myself in between the family life at home and my job, self-love to the max! Hence going back to working out. It's not like self-love means getting skinny again. I want to feel energized again, alive and kicking like I did back then when I worked out regularly. Hell, I even baked delicious things 4 times a week next to work and personal life 😛 And of course I wouldn't mind losing a couple of pounds, tone up some more, reduce some cellulite and become stronger. But I would do anything to sleep better again, and don't feel sleep deprived every day. And working out does help more next to adjusting my food intake and take some supplements after seeing my orthomoleculair therapist.
So, this is my current state, in my new outfit 😊 Love the color combo! I have been working out regularly since a week or 2, and it feels great 😃 Especially when my boyfriend joins me in the gym sometimes for some compound workouts, or like yesterday, for a run in the forest, and throw some bodyweight workout in between. Can't wait for our workout tomorrow @scl89 😍 and our hot yoga session on Friday @cottds 💪🔥❤️ Working out together is definitely more fun 🙏

I know it’s been pretty warm here but it’s just not the same without a pool to jump into or a freshly made cocktail in hand, is it?
Besides that, the food this year was so good, like this rooster pastitsada I had at The White House. Pastitsada is basically a slow cooked dish of tomatoes and spices like cinnamon. It’s traditionally made with beef but this time they used rooster, which is very similar to chicken but has a richer, slightly gamier flavour. It was a nice spin on this traditional Greek dish.
Wish I was sitting by the sea eating it now! Anyone else dreaming of being somewhere else right now?

Are the hot summer days making your home tomato garden go wild? Here’s a quick, simple tip from Chef Molly to have high quality tomatoes set aside for the fall/winter.
Toss tomatoes with salt, pepper, and EVOO.
Place on a sheet pan tray in a 450 degree oven until tomatoes are blistered.
Enjoy as a side or dip now, or pop them in baggie and put them in the freezer for use later on.
