I think it’s easy to get frustrated when we don’t see or get results immediately. We are living in a world of instant gratification and I know I want it all right now, don’t you? But when we make a little effort every single day toward our bigger goal, not only is it easier to accomplish but we actually reach our goal without feeling overwhelmed or exhausted. It really does work. Each day take one step forward. Do one thing that gets you closer to what you want. And then don’t beat yourself up if there are setbacks along the way. They are all part of the plan to shape you into who you need to be when you get to your goal. It’s all about PROGRESS not PERFECTION.

Quinotto vegan 💚🌱
Um risoto fake à base de quinoa com lentilha rosa, legumes e cogumelos.
Para acompanhar: tofu marinado e salada com guacamole.
Usando tudo o que tinha na geladeira e transformando em um almoço vegano delicioso e mega nutritivo.
☆ Agora a parte boa: anotem a receita que vale muito a pena! ⠀
• 2 xícaras de quinoa branca;
• 1 xícara de lentilha rosa;
• 1 abobrinha em cubos;
• 1 cenoura em cubos;
• 1 cebola picada;
• 4 dentes de alho picados;
• 160g de cogumelo paris fresco;
• 80g de shiitake fresco;
• Temperos à gosto!
Cozinhar a quinoa junto com a lentilha em uma panela com 5/6 xícaras de água, sal e um fio de azeite.
Em uma frigideira refogue os legumes e reserve. Nessa mesma frigideira, refogue os cogumelos menores para colocar por cima do quinotto.
Em uma frigideira grande, refogue a maioria dos cogumelos com os temperos de sua preferência. Coloque os legumes e a quinoa com a lentilha. Misture bem e tcharãn, bom apetite!

Malaysian satay chicken skewers topped with roasted peanuts, served with Vietnamese pickled salad and Japanese sushi rice.
The crispy chicken was perfect, the satay was beautiful and the rest of it just added to the magic of this dish.
Absolutely the highlight of Saturday's visit to Merthyr food fest. Very much looking forward to seeing more of these guys and checking out the other stuff they have to offer.
Vacation Spam Coming Your Way
The more vacations I take, the more I learn how to control what I eat and maintain the way that I feel. A couple of years ago I would've inhaled everything in sight at the buffet because why not, it's there for a reason right?!
Right and wrong. Don't limit yourself but don't also overdo it. I hated feeling bloated or not sexy in the clothes I packed two days into vacation
So this time I kept my carbs low, ate a lot of protein for breakfast, worked out and ordered diet cokes half the time. It worked out beautifully
I'm going to be loosely tracking my macros for the next week or so then I'll figure out what my next step will be as it pertains to my fitness goals.
As for now I'll be here to enjoy eating some cheese puffs on a Monday because I would never do that before. Living

Güneş ışığında ultraviyole A ve B olmak üzere 2 tür ultraviyole var.Ultraviyole A kanserojen olan ve güneş ışınları yatay geldiği zaman, yani sabah ve akşam saatlerinde gelir. Ultraviyole B ise öğle saatlerinde 12-13 arası, gölgemizin en kısa olduğu zaman gelir. 15-20 dakika vücudumuza geldiği zaman, güneşe açık olan oranına göre, vücut günde 10 bin-25 bin ünite civarı D Vitamini üretir. Güneşe öğle saatlerinde çıkmanın daha doğru olduğu biliniyor artık. Ama yüzü bir şapkayla korumayı unutmamak gerek 🧢
Chargrilled chicken satay burger. Warm satay sauce, garlic mayo, rocket, onions and relish, served with sweet potato fries and the legendary baconnaise. Why GBK don't sell this stuff by the bucket I don't know, I can't get enough of it.
A catch up with my best friend usually ends in a trip to GBK. He will almost always have the one with pesto and I always want this. I've tried others but this one is my fav, the satay sauce just makes it.
Today's one came with an excessive amount of rocket, a good 70% of which was removed. I'm all for some of it, but you can't be taking the spotlight off the satay sauce you know.
Tried soft shell crab today at Merthyr food fest and oh my god what a great idea that was! -
My sister was vocally very confused about how this works and what it is but the guys were so patient and good with explaining it to her.. a million thank yous for that!
There is no actual shell on the crab and the soft shell described is the batter, which they do fresh right in front of you. The entire thing is edible so there's no waste and you don't have to faff around with shell, even better.
Served with piped crème fraîche and salad on a corn tortilla and topped with homemade sweet chili sauce, this was an absolute dream.
This weeks cocktail of the week in @thephilharmoniccdf is a pink pina colada. Made with pink gin, cherry, pineapple and coconut cream.
Tastes like an alcoholic strawberry milkshake and with the coconut in there as well it makes a spin on the standard pina colada. This one is only available until Sunday when it'll change, and even better, it's 241 everyday after 5pm 🥂
The most fancy dessert I've ever had right here. This was course number 6 at The Greatest Showman tasting menu event.
Champagne sorbet, elderflower caviars and rose syrup. Every single bit of this tasted so good and even the whole concept of this dessert I thought was really cool and super creative. Like how do they make these tiny caviar style balls that taste delightful when you pop them!? Haha
My friend has an allergy to any kind of alcohol so was concerned about this dish. Before we went I contacted the chef who was incredibly helpful and accommodating for her. She had essentially the same dessert but with a couple tweaks, and even asked us about whether things like dishes with white wine vinegar used need some tweaks as well, something that neither of us even considered lol.
I love when stuff like this happens, it makes suchhhh a difference to the whole experience of a restaurant.
The Hog Father. 170g burger, Swiss cheese, pulled pork, smoked streaky bacon & warm bbq sauce served with skin-on fries & coleslaw.
If you like a lot of food, eat meat and are not afraid to get a bit messy with it, then this place is for you. Every single time I've been to @thesmokehausuk has been banging. I always end up having a burger because they're so big and full of all sort of stuff. Pulled pork, bacon, beef and bbq are just that lovely little group of things work together so well when you really want to indulge in a burger.
One of my other favourites is the donut burger (obv) where the bun parts of the burger is replaced with glazed donuts omggg. Sounds kinda gross but works so well.
The skin on chunky fries make a welcome change from the usual kind if chips you get out too.
Today's visit to @blanche.bakery with @thelittleegg_. After spending aaages picking just 1 donut I went with the strawberry cheesecake and omg it was just beauuutiful. -
The dough was so fluffy and the outside was just a little crispy, sign of a super fresh donut right there. Went down a treat with a lovely peach ice tea, Em had the passionfruit one.
I was pleasantly surprised with the size of this beauty too and they're all vegan, not that you can tell. They're closing in a few days to do a bit of work in the shop so I'm so glad I went now, need more of these in my life.
