Happy Hanukkah 🕎 I’m so pleased with the way my challah turned out. It’s delicious and beautiful. I made it the proper way and said a blessing over it then burnt a small piece. I read the blessing in Hebrew and then because I don’t speak Hebrew said it again in English. The whole process was beautiful and fulfilling. I can’t wait to do it again. Just take 1 Brooklyn Bred original, traditional or ancient grain pizza crust, 1 tablespoon olive oil, ¼ cup cooked chopped pancetta or prosciutto, 1/3 cup diced fresh figs, ¼ cup shredded fontina cheese, 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and ¼ cup fresh arugula. Sunday’s are meant for slow mornings, long brunches, and the best lattes in the city! I also meant best cookies too! Love this quaint little cafe in Soho that makes a cinnamon raisin cookie latte with actual raisin purée ! And I made the mistake of coming here the first time and not getting a cookie. MISTAKE.
