It’s my #Barkday 🎉🥳🎈! I turn the big 6️⃣, and very excited to the old man telling kids to get off my lawn. Mama made me a 🍔 with some 🥕 (bc she’s still mom 🙄) as my birthday treat 😋! AND! I don’t have to share it with little bro 😝😁
Happy Sunday sweet FOOBS❣️I got my bestie Betty staying with me for 10 days. We have been having lovely walkies together. Now we are taking the elevator back home to chill. Hope all my sweet friends are happy and well‼️ xo Olive Bear 🐾🐻🐾 #blackpom#blackpomeranian#pomeranian#blackdog
Papa has always wanted to bring home a companion for me & this could easily be fulfilled if my folks had shopped for a young pawbling. However, their belief in every cloud has a silver lining leads them to Voices For Animals where animals are given hope for a new lease of life & the story begins... Mia is visually impaired in both eyes. When I first met her, I couldn’t contain my excitement at all, from the groomer to the vet. At home, despite being separated, I barked at her non-stop to want her attention & play with me. All my attempts failed drastically to the extent that my trachea collapsed & I had difficulty breathing. My Mama had to call the emergency services to seek medical advice. We were advised to remove one of us so as to give me time & space to normalise my breathing. It was an obvious decision who had to go. Thankfully, a kind soul agreed to take Mia in temporarily. Mama cried bitterly when Papa took Mia away.
Every evening, Papa & Mama would visit Mia & bring her food & medication. On alternate days, they would take me to visit her. However, each visit lasted less than 15min bec my trachea would collapse & I would be breathless. Traces of Mia were everywhere at home despite that short moment - her sleeping area & the stuff that we’d bought to welcome her which brought nothing but heartaches & tears.
Papa & Mama then took me to the vet (not our usual one bec we couldn’t get a slot) to have a thorough check. I was diagnosed with bronchitis & a slight enlarged heart. The vet had advised us to rethink of the adoption. We then sought second opinion & the advice was the same. Papa & Mama were at a total loss as they couldn’t bear to give Mia up. My health or her... To be continued... _____________________________________________________
