The bent-over row with dumbbells is a great strength-training exercise for the upper back and shoulders. To do the exercise properly, make sure to bend your knees slightly, hinge forward at the hips, and engage your core. When pulling the weights towards your chest, keep your back straight, pull your shoulder blades in, keep your elbows close to your body, and look forward to keep your head up. Don’t be a hero by lighting too heavy weights when you’re not yet ready. Less is more when you’re learning how to do the correct postures for the exercise. We don’t want you injured! Here, Shaun @shaun_tupaz shows you how it’s done, son, as part of his Beat Boxing class.
