I knew a complete change of career, starting my own business in something most people never heard of would be difficult and I was right. It’s not easy some days when I don’t have a client to see and I do question and doubt myself constantly am I on the right path. I've been learning so much about myself it sometimes feel like I never really knew myself at all. How did I manage to survive this long? How have I really managed to hold on? So many questions and the answers are neither right or wrong. To put it simply I have not fully accomplished my life's mission. I know I came into this world with my own master plan, this vision that not many will understand but it is for my inner-standing so I can create my own masterpiece.
I CAME TO MASTER PEACE, NOT TO ACCEPT DEFEAT BUT TO LEARN MY LESSONS AND TO ALWAYS RISE BACK UP AND STAND FIRM ON MY OWN TWO FEET BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED.
Safe to say life has taught me that I can only do it my way. Some will be disappointed and that's ok. Question is, am I Ok? Am I living a satisfied life? Am I happy with my choice(s)? Am I willing to accept the path I came to live? Am I ready to do whatever it takes? To make that sacrifice to pay that price?
The ultimate sacrifice is one's life so these are the questions I ask myself as I strive to elevate. I have no time to procrastinate, some will love and some will hate, at times my actions will even call for a debate but there is no judge nor jury on this physical plane. No one can truly tell me what am doing is wrong it is just a matter of their own perception.
Now don't get me wrong there are and will be many guides on my mission but like myself they too have their own personal plan. I'm just here trying to live true to my own master plan. Trust me it's not about wheter you do or you don't understand. My life, my plan.

Bowl tropical lleno de sabor!! Esta delicia perfecta para el almuerzo tiene pollo apanado en coco hecho en el airfryer, papitas criollas al limón con cilantro, noodles de zanahoria, mango, aguacate y champiñones salteados con ajo.
Para el pollo: cortan el pollo en cubos, lo sazonan con sal, pimienta y ajo, lo pasan por yogurt griego natural y después por coco rallado mezclado con un poco de sal. Ponen los trocitos en el airfryer por 10 mins aprox y listo!! 🤤

A new to me oil this month - Cypress! Not only does it smell like a Christmas tree - I added it to my diffuser with cedarwood, cinnamon and pine and almost replicated my favourite bath and body works candle! 🎄🎄🎄

Mix all that together in a bowl for the batter, and cook the pancakes on a fry pan under golden brown 🤤

What if I told you that each of these pictures were all the same pose? Navasana ⛵ (boat pose) is a powerhouse move that IGNITES 🔥 the Solar Plexus ☀️. I usually sequence my core work near the end of my classes, and anytime I cue ⛵ boat or any other core work I usually see a wave of fear wash over students faces.
This fear usually stems from those who feel like they are "stuck" in phase 1 or 2 and/or those that jump into stage 3 without success and then give up. It's hard to look around and see others doing the "next level" of something, knowing you aren't quite there yet. Being a Westerner doesn't help, as we tend to be quite competitive and see Yoga as just another fitness fad, something to conquered.
If we look at all four pictures, my body is engaging all of the same muscles in the same alignment for all four variations. We are always looking for this nice, tall spine which we can accomplish by drawing that navel into the spine. This engages our transverse abdominals which wrap ALL THE WAY AROUND the body (yep, your core is more than just your front body 😱). Notice I'm drawing my shoulders down away from my ears, plugging them into my shoulder girdle, and my gazing point or Drishti 👁️ is always forward or slightly up.
It's true that once we elongate our legs and release our hands that it becomes more difficult, but spending an appropriate amount of time in those first two stages sets you up beautifully to accomplish any variation of this pose you're looking for. Once we venture into stage 3 or 4, you may find that you feel super wobbly. This is normal! This is your bodies way of trying to stabilize the core, and pulling that belly in and focusing on sitting tall all the way through the crown 👑 of the head will help you find that place of balance. I'm never ashamed of my time spent is stages 1 and 2, in fact, I'm proud that my patience in this place set me up to blossom in the deeper variation.
Finding stage 4 is NOT the goal. Learning value in what it takes to get there is ✨

Balance. We need it to stay on our feet both literally and figuratively. In everything we need #balance. We need to be highly self aware while not being overly self critical. However, we live in a time where we use "this is just who I am" as a mask to not address areas that need critique. On the other side we suffer with being overly self critical to the point of self loathing as we don't seek to change our stripes.
The first step to getting this balance right is to assess our relationships. Are we allowing our spouses to hold us accountable, our friends to pull us up. Are our relationships all gas (hype and support) or fire (tearing down)? Our relationships need to be honest either way and allow us to self reflect and improve while not tearing ourselves down. .
It's time to check your circles and yourself. Are you allowing those closest to you to be the honest reflection you? We love to point fingers at others, but often we're only allowing others to magnify the truth we want them to see. Then consider, are these people really able to help you grow to be honest with yourself?
You may need work on or remove current relationships, but you may also need a counseling or coaching relationship (not the same thing). Let's get honest, self aware and let's give ourselves a chance to breathe and win.

Surya Namaskar is one of the most important yoga practices. It is the set of 12 yoga poses which can be performed while chanting 12 different mantras. Mantras add a profound spiritual element to the practice.
Surya Namaskar is sometimes translated as "eternal salutations to the sun." In Sanskrit, surya means "sun" and namaskar means "salutations." The practice of Surya Namaskar awakens the body intelligence to create energy directly from the sun. In the Vedic tradition, the sun is symbolic of consciousness and, therefore, has been worshiped daily in the Indian culture.
Surya Namaskar is designed to access the ethereal energy that exists all around us. Every morning at dawn, the air is filled with prana shakti, or life energy. When performed facing east during the first rays of the morning sun, breathing correctly and chanting the mantras, one experiences a phenomenal affect on the mind, body and spirit.
This morning practice is designed to work on all body parts, every organ, every system and every chakra. It is also believed to be the most efficient way to connect with our core inner strength.
