✨Time for a lil life update //Firstly I made it through exams. wow wow. The relief walking out my last exam (Geography) was insane. I’m so glad they are over. After a celebratory picnic at the beach with my amazing mum, I came home, looked at my phone to see I had won a competition I had entered. The prize...a trip to Europe! Then after screaming and telling my parents with excitement some relatives arrived. For the next 2 days I spent entertaining my lil cousin whilst trying to pack for my first overseas trip. My bestie and I were heading to BALI! (And no not for schoolies) but for our own little celebratory trip. We ate ALOT of incredible vegan food, walked a lot and just had a good chill time. The flight we first boarded at 11:00pm at night was a bit of a ‘situation’. After everyone finally boarded and sat down, we were suddenly told to get our bags and get off the plane right away. There was some sort of bomb scare. We then didn’t end up flying out til after 12am. This was a 8hr flight to Kula lumpur in Malaysia. We then had a long layover before our 4hr flight back to Bali. We did that on the way back too. We saved $100 but would never ever recommend. My friend definitely never heard the end of it haha as it was her idea. Get a direct flight when going from Aus to Bali. Trust me. Anyway after our trip to Bali we had to make the trip back to Melbs for our Year 12 graduation. We got back the morning of this. We had planned to fit in a nap before the event, which started at 6:00pm but that didn’t happen. So after glamming up we went to graduate 13 years of education with 0 sleep. The night was amazing. The food was amazing. I am so in love with the school I did my final years at. The teachers I had were the best I’d ever had. The friends I made. Just super happy and grateful. So yeah...I GRADUATED! Now I’m back home chilling out before I start work which will consume my whole summer. So much has happened this past month. I’ve felt SO many different emotions. But to sum it all up: happiness is what I’ve felt. I am beyond excited for what is to come (after a summer of unenjoyable work that is.) So That’s is a SUPER condensed life update. How are you?
Rocks, sand, and river trails. There’s a certain peace that comes from the sights and sounds out here that are hard to describe adequately. Depending on when you ask me, my answer for “describe your perfect day” might be a little different, but today, it’s right here with my family on this beautiful day. What started out as a short little hike to clear up a headache and get some fresh air turned into a pretty nice memory. .

The best things in life are not moments but processes. A sunset is a process, a wave is a process and love is a process. If you’d live for moments you’d always sadly be waiting for better ones to come. But once you realize that you’re part of something bigger, something growing and transforming life starts to make sense. (not saying that you shouldn’t live in the moment ^^)
