Maybe you’re one that doesn’t have full blown acne... but just a pesky blemish here and there or maybe just during stress or hormone related. -
I’m at that point. My skin is balanced finally on Redefine Regimen... but I still get 2-3 once a month. NORMAL. This is what I apply ( my husband uses it too ) for those pesky little friends. -
It’s a dual chamber packed product with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide plus other acne fighting and aging properties. Just a TINY dab morning and night. MAGIC🔮 No drug store product has ever helped my cyst acne like this. This has lasted me over a year. It’s almost empty and about to expire! - 🚫Not recommended for pregnant women -

I’ve done a resin composite cavity prep on the mesial of the 3️⃣6️⃣. Could have been more conservative, but pretty happy with the smooth walls. Big improvement from my last prep (didn’t take a photo - but you can sorta see it on the mesial of the 46), the last prep was half the size of the tooth - let’s just say my hand piece had a mind of its own.
More practice and taking it slow defs helped!
The distal of the 4️⃣6️⃣ is an amalgam resto, it’s ma$$ive to say the least, looks under filled because I carved a chunk out of it. Defs the hardest prep to date, you’ve got to think about flat surfaces (walls + floor), retentive grooves + make sure its diverging gingivally to hold the amalgam in place!
Did a second amalgam cavity prep (not pictured), although it’s a lot smaller and trapezoidal in shape, depth wise - it’s nearly touching the pulp 😶. Got a lot of work to do in the next session before the exam!
Any tips would be great!
Hey friends! 👋
Here’s a post dedicated to an incredible university that does its best to make unilife as holistic as possible. With many clubs, societies, sports and events constantly happening throughout the semester, the study-life balance is heavily stressed upon!! We’re so lucky to be attending an incredible dental school, where we’re exposed to patient care as early as second year, not many universities do this! We‘re also lucky to have many high-tech resources to better our skills. We’re taught by world class lecturers who passionately deliver their content. The emphasis they all keep reiterating is: to focus on prevention as a PROACTIVE means of health promotion rather than targeting just the EXISTING reactive nature of healthcare!
I’ve tagged a few of my fave unimelb dental student accounts across dds1-4 also documenting their journeys, highly recommend checking them out and supporting their incredible work!! For those of you who have dmed me questions, I’ve only just seen them under the request tab (oopsies) so i’ll do my best to reply ASAP.
Have a lovely week!
