Wrist action, because it’s all connected. . This is a great set of exercises to strengthen wrists without having to get down on your hands and knees. . Because it’s all connected, you can strengthen and ease tension in the wrists by releasing tension in the arms, neck and shoulders. Good for those with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome but go slowly. . Creating tension through the deep and superficial fascial lines that run from the hands through the shoulder relaxes the tissue a bit like turning a screw tighter so that you can loosen it. . When the tissue can relax, the vital fluids can flow more freely and the nervous system is nourished so that connections to the brain are more efficient. . Keep the palms pressed together firmly throughout these exercises. . Use the breath to initiate the movement. . For the side to side breathe in as you move to the side, out as you press the outer hand down and reverse to come back to centre. . For the behind the neck, breathe in as the arms go up and out as they go down. This is SO nice on the neck and right along the trapezius. . On my back days, I always try to do a heavy weighted pull up. The weighted pull-ups pictured here I did and a 5 x 5. Since I have been in my cut, my strength has gone down tremendously. I used to be able to these at 70 lbs for a 5x5 with much less struggle (the weighted pull-up video pictured is of my 4th set). Additionally, I always try to get some other pull up variant like a chain pull up or a towel pull up in my workout routine along with a max rep pull-up set to maximize blood flow and hypertrophy. For my biceps on my back and biceps days, I always do a heavy barbell bicep curl. Barbell curls have shown to have a 90% activation of your bicep muscles. Pull ups are super beneficial because it is easy to increase the intensity. Pull-ups are a great functional compound upper body exercise and they help increase grip strength, fat loss, and there are a ton of variations so workouts never get boring. Hier seht ihr eine weitere Ausführung einer Bizeps Maschine. Doch was ist der Bizeps eigentlich genau und welche Funktion hat er: Der Bizeps wird auch „Musculus Biceps Brachii“ genannt. Er besteht aus einem langen Kopf (Caput longum) und einem kurzen Kopf (Caput breve). Seine Hauptaufgaben sind das Drehen des Unterarms und das Beugen des Unterarms. Dann gibt es noch den „Musculus Brachialis“ der am Unterarm an der Elle ansetzt und zum Oberarm endet. Auch er beugt den Unterarm, ist aber verstärkt bei pronierter Handhaltung (Handflächen nach unten) aktiv. Natürlich sind bei Bizeps Curls noch viele weitere Muskeln unterstützend an der Arbeit beteilig, jedoch übernehmen diese nicht die Hauptlast.
