😆Sometimes there’s just not enough room! This painting is 180 x 90cm (72x36”) and it’s takes up the whole work table in my studio.
I’m now adding multiple layers or paint and mixed media techniques to create an interesting underwater impression. 🐬🌊🎨
An apple a day keeps...the emotions away 🍏
I love emotions. At times, I love them too much. I dip deeply into thoughts. I wallow in the darkest depths, and dance around the highlights.
I remember sometime in my youth, a grand thought had surfaced: “Although I may be sad, this feeling can create great art because of it.” And I think beyond art - understanding your emotions and viewing them as a tool and not a hinderece, can give you great insight and joy to life.
As long as you are expressing your emotions with grace, they can be great gifts.
My previous view on emotions was that they were out of my control, a weakness, and something I needed to hide. Now I’ve broke bread with myself and found my mind to be beautiful even in it’s darkest hours.
Make peace with your emotions. Love them. They are you. And together, you are beautiful.
Cheers, Champagne ❤️

One of my early tryouts with painting, media, computer mix. What does it mean to be an artist and what can be considered as art? Experimental endeavor time fuelled by my( blessed) ignorant naive approach to this all artist -art issue. The human face expression, alongside the symbolic boats, water, shadows and umbrella attracted me to further investigate the potential of this piece. SO GLAD I DID!
Enjoy, and please share your thoughts.

"optimistic's" painting ( viewed in my https://www.shookroon.com/copy-of-portfolio website), which was mostly painted with primitive word 97 paint - well, it was the beginning of my journey - taught me a lot.
Here is a fabric of rugged human characters attending live jazz concert, and due to the limitation of the painting format, it came out quiet unique. I cannot wait printing this visual in large scale . realy.
cannot repeat that visu-sketch , though, I am to sophisticated today...pity for me. IMHO
One theme always bounces back while painting; the need, extreme need to be free from constrains.
Side story of the evolving "full moon" painting, has caught my eye and hart and led me to paint this pastoral naive moment where everything looks in place. The lake's color with the shadowed green and white made an exceptional aesthetic treat. [I might even free the purple bird. Have not decided yet if the bird is contributing the moment or interfering…need time to evaluate.
And the words of my small by age, daughter Rona still echoing inside my head "father, why is he naked.." Really why? Enjoy.
